My mic headset doesn't pick up my voice anymore. Can someone help me fix this problem?
My mic headset was instantly accidentally unplug while I was playing some music, and now it's not picking up my voice on it. The sound settings was changed when that happened, and I can't figure out which was which? Which sound setting do I need to adjust to make my mic work again?
Click Start, then Control Panel, now scroll down to Sounds and Audio Devices and open that program.
As you begin the process, you'll have (probably) 2 options regarding your system, be sure your settings are correct in that the equipment you're using is in the proper slot (you'll understand once you see it).
There are 3-4 "checks" you'll make, it's all very sensible and easy to follow. Basically, you're troubleshooting your audio settings.
Once done, restart your computer and you should be fine.
