"s...WHATS BETTER FOR COMPUTER STUDIO PROJECTS?? A MIXER TO THE SOUNCARD OR AN INTERFAE AUDIO TO U.S.B?
thanks to whoever,,,reads this.....ok i connected my mixer to my pc's soundcard and it sounded like crap...i was asking around and some pros told me that an interface will sound 100x better than your regular mixer....is this true?????PLEEZ HELP THANKS,,,
This is absolutely TRUE. The standard computer sound card was not designed for professional recording. It is a computer manufacturer's cheapest means of delivering sound input and output to the consumer. If you want pro quailty results, a good sound card/audio interface is not very expensive. It can be connected to you computer in a number of ways: USB, Firewire or PCI. M-Audio ( http://www.m-audio.com ) makes some great audio interface specifically for computer recording that deliver pro quality results. They are also compatible with the industry standard recording software, Pro Tools (http://www.homerecorder.com/products/software/recording/protoolsmpowered.html ). You can find some great deals on audio interfaces at: http://www.homerecorder.com/products/audioInterfaces/airesults1.html and ( http://stores.ebay.com/Pro-Audio-4-Less_Audio-Interfaces_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZQ2d1QQfsubZ14QQftidZ2QQtZkm ). Good luck!
